SHOP POLICIES

At The Landlocked Dog, we strive to craft quality, affordable items that you and your pet will treasure! Each piece on the site is hand stamped, letter by letter, for you (or your pet) with high quality, American made metals. All metals used are either 18 gauge copper, nugold and bronze or 14g aluminum. If any item should vary, it will be noted in the listing. Sizes are given in the item description.

SHIPPING: Please allow 7-10 business days (Saturday & Sunday, as well as USPS postal holidays, are not business days) for your item to be customized once payment is received. Items are shipped USPS 1st Class with shipping confirmation unless you request/pay for a different service. We offer RUSH Production and expedited shipping (USPS Priority or Express) at checkout. Fees calculate based on the services selected. Please note, paying for an upgraded shipping service will not expedite the production time unless RUSH Production is selected. We do not offer expedited production/shipping for international orders.

Per Paypal policies, items will be shipped only to the address you've entered at checkout. Your purchase will ship in a padded envelope in either an organza bag or our adorable box, depending on item. We know that many of our items are purchased as gifts, so each item will be individually wrapped for your gift giving convenience. The Landlocked Dog cannot control the postal service and cannot be held responsible for postal delays, failures, thefts, losses or delays at the customs office.

***INTERNATIONAL BUYERS*** In accordance with the law, all international orders will have full value declared on customs forms. Import duties, VAT taxes, and charges are NOT included in the item price or shipping cost, as these charges are the buyer's responsibility. We recommend checking with your country's customs office to determine what additional costs will be prior to buying. The Landlocked Dog will not refund items that have been refused for non-payment of import taxes.

PAYMENT: Payments are accepted through PayPal (which can process your debit or credit card, no Paypal account needed), and your order will be in the production queue once your payment clears. Pieces paid via Paypal eCheck will not ship until the eCheck has cleared.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES: There are no refunds on our custom items but replacements will be sent in the event of receiving damaged or incorrect items. I can sometimes make an error but please notify me within 7 days of receipt and I will gladly send a replacement asap. I try to run a very transparent shop, please contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. Communication is key!
